Site Updates

Greetings again, folks!

Please excuse the dust and occasional tool dropped around. I’m working on some site updates, including a new newsletter subscription area, removing the contact form (for now), and disabling the current guestbook. Unfortunately, DJ can’t access the old one, and therefore we ask that everyone just hang on - OR - leave a comment here!

Forum Deletion, Contact Backlog

Good morning, folks,

Unfortunately, an issue was raised with the forum that resulted in my not being able to get into it to moderate - leaving several posts unposted. For now, I’ve removed the forum, although should I find a new or updated forum plugin, we might give it another go.

In cleaning up the scripts on the site, I also found I’d mis-configured the contact form the last time I updated it and that has mis-directed a lot of the contacts. Please accept my apologies (or send rotten tomatoes) and be patient as I try to sort out the issue. For now - please don’t use the form! Use the guestbook…

I think that covers it for today.
